Everyday highlighting and contouring

Hello everyone. Today I've uploaded a video on how I highlight and contour my face. This is an easy step by step/beginners tutorial that will show you the basics of where to place the lighter and darker shades. Here are my step by step instructions:

1. I rinse by beauty sponge thoroughly (this is a sponge I purchased on ebay for about a $1) making sure that the moisture goes throughout the sponge. Then I squeeze it out into a towel to get out any excess moisture. This will allow the product to blend easily without drying up before you blend it out.

2. Using my BH Cosmetics 10 Color Camouflage Concealer palette, I pat one side of my sponge onto the darker color I will be using for the contouring. I then pat in onto the areas of my face that would naturally be shadowed. This includes the hollows of my cheeks (just below my cheekbones), my hair line, the sides of my nose up to the brow bone and just below my lower lip on my chin.

3. I then take the other side of the sponge and pat it into the lightest color of the palette and proceed to apply to the areas of my face that would be naturally highlighted. This includes the tops of my cheekbones, the bridge of my nose, the middle of my forehead, my chin and my cupids bow (the area between the top of my lip and the tip of my nose).

4. Using the bottom of the sponge (which is rounded for blending and still has moisture), I then pat and blend out the highlight and contour I just applied. While patting on, I am also using a tiny twisting motion to ensure blending.

5. Once all is blended, I apply my eye shadow on my top lid and my eyebrow makeup.

6. Then I apply my under eye concealer and blend out with a small stippling brush.

7. I apply my bottom eye makeup (eyeliner/shadow/mascara) and my eyelashes.

8. Using a flat brush, I pat setting powder onto the highlighted areas of my face (these are also areas that tend to get oily and this helps with that)

9. I now apply my blush to the tops of my cheeks very softly, apply lipstick and I'm done :)

I hope this was helpful to you :) Please let me know if you have any questions. Thank you so much for reading and watching! xoxo
