TARTE Amazonian Clay 12-Hour Full Coverage Foundation Review

Hello Beauties !!
Today I am going to give a BLOG review on Tarte's Amazonian Clay Foundation in the color 'Medium Sand'. Before I start let me tell you a few things about my skin:

1) I have oily skin, especially in the T-zone area of my face
2) I have noticeable pores ESPECIALLY on the sides of my nose :(
3) At my ripe age of 30, foundation/concealer/powder almost always creases under my eyes and around my nose.

So with all that being said, here we go.

The texture of this foundation is quite thick. I definitely has similarities to Mac's Studio fix foundation. It is not by any means a 'Lightweight' foundation.
I applied this foundation with the Sedona Lace brush FB07 which is a large flat top buffer brush. Which you can find >here<. Before applying this product, I moisturized and applied Maybelline's Baby Skin Instant Pore Eraser which I used as a primer. The particular color I used was Medium Sand and I felt that it was very pasty. After applying the foundation, I typically contour my face using BH Cosmetics Concealer Palette which typically goes on great but with this foundation, it definitely looked pasty and did not blend we either.

I have heard so many great things about this foundation and I truly had high hopes for it, but this definitely wasn't for me.

Thank you for reading :) xoxo

Ashley
